Chris Knight
Founder
Our founder Chris Knight is no stranger to the struggles of being diagnosed with cancer. In February of 2019, Chris was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma Mediastinal Large B-cell. Chris underwent six rounds of chemotherapy totaling up to thirty-six bags. Before starting his first treatment, he learned how much the cost of treatment would be and it was at that moment, Guardian Knight was born. Being a husband, father of three, and the sole provider of his family, he understood the magnitude of the financial burden that would come along with his treatment. While being off of work for over six months, he learned the true value of family and friendships. Without them, the burden would have been much greater. For this very reason, he wanted to make sure that no other cancer patient would have to carry that burden alone.

Breast Cancer Survivor / Blogger / Social Media / Fundraising
Misty Baker is a devoted wife and mother of two. In 2015 she was diagnosed with stage 3 triple negative breast cancer. After 3 years of chemotherapy, radiation and multiple surgeries, she emerged a changed woman…a survivor. She is proud of each and every scar she earned during her fight and even refers to them as her “life lines.”
Much like the founder of GKCF, she has a unique perspective when it comes to cancer, and the toll it can take on a family both emotionally and financially. She hopes that through her work within the foundation she can help ease that burden and spread positivity wherever she can.

Artist / Speed Painter / Fundraising / Auctions
Lance Brown isn’t your typical artist. He is not only colorblind, but he completes his striking Christian art on large canvases in less than 6 minutes. As an accomplished Christian motivational speaker and performance artist, he uses his personal testimony and God-given abilities to share the gospel of Jesus with his audience.
He began painting in 2001, but it wasn’t until eight years later that he first painted a picture of Jesus for his church in Arlington, Texas.
His ministry, Painted Christ, has steadily grown, opening up the door for him to touch the lives of people all over the United States, and even the world with his visual storytelling while he paints powerful works of art. Everywhere he goes, Lance cultivates relationships with anyone and everyone, and is easy to work with.
